Slightly brown matt tropic dial & never relumed tritium index. Matching tritium hands.
Watch head, case, mvmt, tritium tropic dial & tritium hands, caseback, bezel insert, bezel inlay & bezel & crown is original from 1972 & unmodified. Never relumed crisp dial.
2-endlinks, 12-links, Clasp, 2-boxes (inner pyramid & outer), all 3-tags, passport document holder, anchor & handwritten 3-papers never came with this watch. They are thrown into this sale only for the sake of 100% completion of this set. I got them separately from RSC & VRF & include them for the sake of complete set.
Pearl dot is not tritium & is from a sapphire model.
Overall watch condition: 82%. Hands are slightly corroded.
Stem hub, clasp, 5 links, 1680 sticker & 2 endlinks are brand new. Crystal is service replacement in pre-owned condition.

Movement: Original & correct ref 1570 hacking movement & in almost perfect & original condition. No corrosion. Keep good +/- 1s accuracy. 2 days power reserve which show a good mainspring condition.
Dial: Original maxi tritium with perfectly clean, unblemished, non-relumed, unbroken, sharp edges, non-flaking & nice light yellow uniformed patina. Non-glowing tritium dial & hands. Beautiful tropic brown matte dial. All min markers are present
Hands: Original tritium. Matching hour, min & sec hands & dial patina in non-flaking, unre-lumed, unblemished, clean and unbroken condition with slight corrosion on the no longer glowing hands.
Crown: Original tripolock 3-dot crown. 3 dots on the crown is worn out due to wear & tear
Stem: Brand new from full service replacement & correct early tripolock without black rubber seal is it should be
Winding: Smooth & with good resistance winding & time adjustment
Datewheel: Original & in perfect condition
Lugs: Factory bevel is visible. Lugs are still reasonably thick. Scratches & dings from normal wear are expected & 2 of the lugs have visibly dropped slight burring
Case: Original & correct with scratches & dings here & there due to normal wear but no pitting or corrosion. Model & Serial number are visible.
Caseback: Original & correct with “IV 72” stamped. Still can be screwed and unscrewed with proper tools. No pitting. No sign of corrosion
Crystal: Recently replaced with correct Ref in pre-owned condition with slight scratches that can be removed by Poly
Bezel: Correct & still turns smoothly with good resistance and shows some scratches & dings in grip areas
Bezel Insert: Original, correct, beautiful & very rare faded silverish aluminium with still clear white fat font. With sign of wear, dings & scratches due to 38 years or wear. Missing Tritium dot pearl from white triangular has been replaced by dirtied Luminova dot pearl that matches hands & dial’s Tritium patina
Water Resistance: Still water resistance to 200M
Endlinks: Brand new & correct ref 380B pair & purchased separately from RSC
Links: Purchased separately from RSC & VRF and correct ref 9315 stamped with total of 12 links. 5 of the links are brand new from RSC. For the remaining 7 old links, they are in below average condition with signs of stretch.
Clasp: Purchased separately from RSC, correct & brand new service stamped clasp with perfect coronet and in tight locking order
2-Boxes: Purchased separately from VRF, correct & highly sought after early 1970s Pyramid inner box & Big Seahorse outer box in good condition
3-Tags: Purchased separately from VRF, correct and rare super-large Big Crown Red Chrono Seal Tag with yellow+green thread, rare Tripolock Tag with green thread, Big Crown Green Price Tag with green thread all in mint condition
